After breakfast, choose a village outing or time on the mountain. Portaria and Makrinitsa offer stone lanes and squares; the wider Pelion landscape brings woodland and routes towards the coast. Choose one destination rather than trying to fit the whole peninsula into a day. Check the route and weather before setting out, and leave extra time for mountain roads. In winter, a visit to Agriolefkes depends on the Ski Centre’s current operating conditions.
