Know where you are staying

Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa is in Chania, Pelion. The Ski Centre’s official access page places Agriolefkes around 2 km from the settlement of Chania; that is a reference to the village, not a measured hotel-to-lift journey. Check your exact driving route before travel and allow time for weather and road conditions. Staying nearby makes planning simpler, but does not guarantee access or snow.

Check operation before setting out

Skiing depends on snow, weather and the operator’s decisions. Use the official Ski Centre website for the latest slope, lift and road status, as well as current tickets and opening information. Do not assume that a booked hotel stay means the lifts will be operating. Check again on the morning of your visit and follow any current road requirements.

Arrange lessons and equipment separately

The Ski Centre lists ski-school, equipment-rental and chalet facilities. Confirm availability, lesson suitability and prices directly with the relevant provider for your dates. These services are separate from your hotel reservation. If you are new to skiing, allow time for equipment fitting and lessons instead of planning the day entirely around time on the slopes.

Plan the return as well as the outing

Breakfast at Manthos is 08:00–11:00. If your plans require an earlier departure, ask reception in advance about what can be arranged. After the mountain, the restaurant is open 13:00–22:00 and the spa 13:00–21:00; confirm access and bookings for the services you want. Keep a village outing or a quiet hotel day as an alternative when skiing is not possible.
